Hey Badmovies.orgers.
Throw down your favorite instrumental tunes.  They can be of the classical era (Bach, Beethoven, etc), they could be ragtime tunes, rock tunes of the 60s/70s/80s/Kenny G./whatever.. just know that there CAN be some words to it, but they must be at a minimum.  I like these:
PICK UP THE PIECES- Average White Band (1974)
Great sax-driven instrumental with only the title being spoken.
! No longer available
HOCUS POCUS- Focus (1973)
Classic guitar/organ/yodel song from a rockin' Dutch band.
! No longer available
And one of my favorite songs of all time:
FRANKENSTEIN-Edgar Winter Group (1973)
Hard-rocking tune with Edgar jamming on not only the keyboards but the sax and timbales as well!
! No longer available

What have you got for me, folks?  I hope this topic hasn't been threaded before..

I got . . .
and I won't name my favorite classical instrumentals, as there are too many to name. Neither will I name my favorite classical composers, as there are almost as many. Though many of both can be found on the Hooked on Classics compilation. What I will name is my favorite TV instrumental themes, as there are only a half dozen.

The Yellow Rose
The Tribe
Second Noah
Hill Street Blues
Flash Forward
Doctor Who
and while there have been several different ones, my favorite, and I don't remember when it was, I believe that it was the one that used a theremin in the theme.

And these film themes from

Flash Gordon (1980)
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The Medicine Man
Rat Race

and . . .
Colonel Bogie's March from
--Bridge Over the River Kwai
Duelin' Banjos from
--Deliverance
Lara's Love Them from
--Doctor Zhivago

and while not written for the film
In the Mood from
Chronicles of Narnia : the Voyage of the Dawn Treader
That is a film series I wish they'd complete, as while they have done 3 theatrical films, as far as I know, there are more books than those 3 in the book series.

There are at least a few recordings of FATS WALLER "Tea For Two" as a piano solo.   I have yet to hear one that is not sublime.
