A solid character actor who always did his best, even when he was in a bad movie or TV show. Played good guys and bad guys equally well. His father would be proud, I think.

Rest well, good sir.
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago.

Damn it... he was so good in Robocop.  2017 isn't starting off so well.  :bluesad:

And he was also the first officer on The Search For Spock

Warp speed, Mr. Ferrer.  RIP.
God of making the characteristic which becomes dirty sends the hurricane.

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Never saw much of NCIS or Crossing Jordan, but I have really fond memories of him in RoboCop, Deep Star Six and Twin Peaks of course. Also I think he did a lot of voice work for Games, Animated Shows etc.

While he was a prominent voice actor for animation in both film and TV, the only video game work I can find for him is for Halo 2.

His sister-in-law was Pat Boone's daughter, Debby Boone, as she married his brother Rafael Ferrer, who my sister went to school with, when they were both in college. His father, of course, was award winning actor Jose Ferrer and his mother was Rosemary Clooney, which would make, on his mother's side his aunt, Betty Clooney, his uncle, Nick Clooney, and his cousin, George Clooney.
As always, Hollywood keeping it in the family.

R.I.P. Miguel, who had a nosebleed to end all nosebleeds in Deep star Six.

Sorry, but I had forgotten this. He has one of the most unique memorials any actor can have. The Marvel Comics character Miguel O'Hara, the alter ego of Spider-man, in Spider-man 2099, which was created by writer Peter David and Rick Leonardi, was based on Miguel Ferrer. So, he won't be forgotten anytime soon.
