That reminds me of a project some guy I know contributed to years ago called Petty Gods, which was a D&D style compendium of deities for such situations as "the god of hangovers" "the god of sidewalk cracks and back alleys" "the god of lost thoughts" the "goddess of bad hair days" "the Lord of ax executions" "the goddess of hiccups" etc. It was hilarious.

I think it's available online as a free download someplace.
