Bart Ripper has released a book about his uncredited role in "Blazing Saddles". He made the fart sounds for the campfire scene using a variety of methods. His role was uncredited and he received little pay for hisnpivotal role in what may be the most famous scene in comedy history.

His book, " The invisible star" details the methods he used to create the various sounds.
