Yeah...it was really good.

Its another origin story, but done well. It tells of Diana's trip into the normal world during WW1.  She believes Ares the god of war has caused the conflict and if she kill him it will end all wars.  So some of the story is about her learning that life is a bit more grey then it was where she's from.

I''ll admit I was one of the people who thought Gal Gadot didn't have the right body to play Wonder Woman, who is usually drawn a bit more statuesque Amazon, but I'll also admit I was wrong as she does a great job as her.

Design wise, the new costume looks good for the cinema.  A mixture of several of her past costumes, with a bit more muted color.  The one design I really liked was the new look for Dr. Poison.  A more subdued and something a bit more like a horror movie doctor.  I think it worked well.   Bit of a spoiler-I do wish she and Wonder Woman had more screen time together.

I'm definitely going to get the DVD when it comes out, and may go to see it again in theaters.

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

My wife and I went to see this a couple of nights ago and we both liked it a great deal.  Warning: do NOT expect an accurate history of World War One!

Anyone else notice that the Germans were a little err... Nazi-ish?
Makes me wonder why they didn't just set it in WWII.

Regardless the movie was very good. I'm not a big fan of DC but this was
on par with Marvel's good stuff.

I don't know if this had been confirmed or not, but the rumor mill says it was done to avoid problems with Captain America being set in WWII.

I loved it immensely. I typically don't care for overplayed origin stories at this point, but this one had to be done and they did it pretty well. Glad to see DC can make more than a mediocre live action (check out DC animated library for the good stuff). The villain isn't my favorite WW nemesis, but it makes sense that it would be the first one.

I am hoping to see the Cheetah and/or Giganta in the next one. I would mark the hell out for that.

So far WW is my favorite movie released in theaters this year

My only complaint is that there was no post credit scene
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

Maybe in the next one. This one did well enough at the box office, that there'll be a sequel. While no date for the sequel is given, given what I know how long it takes to make a sequel now, it'll probably be 2019 for the release date.
