any favorite camp movies from the 80s? Most of them, if any,  dont really hold up today. They were fun at the time though, and I still like some of them. Some even had boobies! Lots of boobies!

Ernest goes to camp -  I still like this one, I think its easily the best Ernest movie.
Porkys - I think they made at least 3 of these movies. maybe not really a camp movie?
Meatballs - Again, cant remember. correct me if im wrong.
Friday the 13th (franchise) - thats an easy one!

.the BURNING (1981) Horribly burned maniac runs around chopping kids up with a very large set of garden shears. Lots boobies too! And for 'Seinfeld' fans-it's got Jason Alexander!

.SLEEPAWAY CAMP (1983) A crazy girl goes to camp and turns out she's not a crazy girl at all! She is crazy....but...!
.CHEERLEADER CAMP (1988) Ok-this is the WORST of the 'camp' movies. But-hey-this is BAD movies!

It's got an over-age Leif Garret doing a rap song!

MADMAN (1981)
So cheesy, and the opening/closing song adds extra cheese-- but holy crap; the gore is great!
A camp for smart kids is besieged by a killer known as Madman Marz, who was thought of only as legend.

THE LOST EMPIRE
THE SWORD AND THE SORCEROR

These two films introduced me to the wonderful world of B-movies!

Ralfy and Indy-uh-hmm. I don't know how to break it to you-but he means'camp' as in going camping-like summer camp?
Not 'camp' as in Rocky Horror type camp.

some awesomely bad acting in this one. runs out of steam a bit past the halfway mark though, imo

The Prey (1984) - pretty poor outdoors/camping slasher, watchable because of unintentional humor. That is, if you find random nature footage funny. The campfire sequence always makes me laugh. Trivia: made by people working in the porn industry and filmed in 1979.

Don't Go in the Woods (1981) - zero budget slasher, notorious for being so bad so good.

The Final Terror (1981) - people like to call this one "underrated" but in reality it is still bad, no matter how you label it. Noteworthy for casting up and coming actors who became big stars in the 1980s.

MEMORIAL VALLEY MASSACRE (1989) came late in the game-and it kinda sucks too. But it does have a caveboy!

It's funny, but I've never thought of 80's camp movies as a genre.  What qualifies as a 'camp' in these things?  Do they need to have tents?  Or can it be set in dorms or cabins?
