Just a guess---they got complaints about whatever top answer Google gave so they disabled the question.

Looked it up and that is pretty much the explanation: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/26/google-home-jesus-christ-gaffe-highlights-featured-snippets-problems.html

Remember when Google released their A.I. bot and trolls trained it to give racist answers? I think their worried about the same thing.

Honestly? I don't think Google should try to answer questions. Just give usres a list of sites which contain possible answers, possibly clustered, so different views are represented.

I know this would preclude* any Alexa-type** device, but really, the computer isn't that smart. It's a formula; it either scrapes a popular bit of text from the internet and reads it back to you, or it selects an answer provided by someone at Google. Either way is too subject to abuse.

*In an ironic, perhaps hypocritical move, I used Bing's answer feature to double-check the definition of preclude. Ah, well.  It is useful, just subject to potential abuse.

**Isn't Alexa Amazon's? I thought Google's was called Google Home.

Um, er, uh, well, you see, that particular lady nicknamed her device Alexa. Yeah, that's what I meant. Ahem...
