Saw a movie? I saw Jaws projected against a house while in a pool. Kinda weird.

Read a book? Many times I've read high up in tall trees.

Had a picnic? I bought sushi at Kroger's and then spread a blanket and ate it atop (thee) Barney Kroger's grave.

Slept? In an elevator.

Got intoxicated? If mildly tipsy counts, I took a swig of Southern Comfort in the company of two much drunker people above the canal that inspired Stephen King to make up the one in IT.

Stole something? As a teen I used to walk out with library books and read them and bring them back. I was a word-nerd and couldn't stand the age restrictions on things I wanted to read.

Went swimming? I snorkled above a sting ray on a cruise a few weeks before Steve Irwin showed they weren't as harmless as that commercial said. (Big portobello mushrooms, indeed!)

Told someone I love you? By Serpent Mound in a hailstorm was weird, I suppose.

Felt fear? Once I got the creeps real bad alone in an open field in broad daylight for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Just plain were? I don't know. Uh....In an attic above the roof of a church filled with decades of boxes of old decorations and hymnal and such was pleasantly weird.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

Movie? Jail, I guess.

Picnic? I dunno.

Slept? In my own blood.

Got drunk? Where HAVEN'T I got drunk? I got drunk right before I had to go to court. I was wearing a Charlie Manson T-Shirt too. I went to jail again.

Stole something? I dunno-  I stole a pack of lunchmeat from an all night All American store in upstate NY. I was hungry. I stole some clothes from the Salvation Army box I slept in in NYC.

Went swimming? In a deserted hospital that was used as a rehab. It was a crumbling piece of s**t, too. But it was with a pretty girl who was recovering from a crack addiction.

Told someone I love you? Nowhere weird.

Felt fear? Oddly- in a field. I saw a ghost of a little girl. Oh- ! In an outhouse! Which was in the middle of a corn field- I lifted up the wooden seat and mice swarmed out-scared the s**t outta me!

Just was? In a crypt in a graveyard. Me and my brother Mike broke in during the winter of '72-just for the hell of it.
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
