A movie aboutt the CSS Albemarle could be interesting. It was a hell of a civil war story and really one of those incredible but true ones. The CSS Albemarle was for a time one of the most advanced and powerrful warmachines on earth, she was built in a cornfield out of scrap and confiscated iron and for a brief time she was running on bacon fat.  The stoery of her short life and death would make a great movie.

They should do one on Albert Fish, the cannibal serial killer. The've done every other serial killer, some good, (DERANGED-1973) some bad (GEIN), but not Fish.

They should have Martin Landau play Fish, and directed by Rob Zombie, because this would be his kind of movie.

Honestly, a good movie that could be made would be RoboCop vs predator. Might have to shoot a few lawyers to get it made but that's a bonus not a problem. "It came to hunt. It came to the wrong city."

The doc savage movie was made in the spirit of the batman series and was about as enoyable.

The Batman series is a classic. The Doc Savage movie is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

There hasn't been a good biopic about Andrew Jackson done in fifty years.
Such a total BA would be good movie fodder!

Oh, oh, we can have him fight zombies!!

As another reviewer pointed out, I find it kind of interesting that before Krampus came out in what was it, 2015?  There hadn't really been any horror movies about him.  I'm betting most of you already know this, but Krampus is NOT an idea they just made up for the film, it's a folk legend that's been around for some time (some even speculate his origins pre-date Christianity.)  Regardless, I don't think there'd ever been a film about him.

Course, after the release of Krampus there were several low budget (and from I've read, rather crappy) clones.

I'm surprised none of Richard Laymon's books (to my knowledge) have been made into movies.  A lot of them would be perfect B-Movie fodder, like The Island, The Traveling Vampire Show, The Stake, One Rainy Night, In the Dark, and so on.  And yet, again, as far I know, nothing outside the novels have been done with any of the them.

What I think killed mrampus was the fact it killed innocent poeople who weren't part of the "bad" family. That kinda shot his whole meme to hell.

I think a lot of ideas for stories are only now maybe becoming acceptable.  Certainly, the younger you are the more jaded you must be.  Those words are well considered.  Our culture is not what we grew up in, indeed.

So, I think perhaps now someone could float a genuine historical narrative of the life and experience of VLAD THE IMPALER or his father, VLAD DRACUL

Good luck getting a realistic Dracula based movie made. The last one was basically a movie with Dracula as a half-assed superhero.

I wrote "historical narrative" not some half-ass TV horror.

Dracula the Dark Prince was mostly accurate, but they tacked on a little bit about vampires at the very end.
