My friend told me this, is it true?

He said that TNN gave John K his rights back.. he's making 9 new episodes, and a movie.

...a while back (and I mean a WHILE BACK), I was at his studio website Spumco and he planned on making some REN AND STIMPY shorts for the site Icebox. com (I don't know if Icebox is still in existance).

But now, this is new to me. And it's quite strange as well. I just can't put my finger on it.

If you want a somewhat fresh Ren & Stimpy fix now, I may have the answer. If your cable provider carries MTV En Espanol, flip over Saturdays at 10 PM (Pacific) and you'l see R&S- In Spanish!!! "Ola, Ren!" "Ola, Stimpy! Es muey loco gato!"

Squishy

Icebox.com is back as a pay-per-view deal (twenty-five cents gets you one episode all day long), but John K's cartoon is no longer there...and my old Spumco link doesn't work lately. If John K can keep from attacking and undercutting everyone who tries to work with him for a few months*, maybe this time his project won't be a massive spontaneous abortion like Comic Book, Jimmy The Idiot Boy, and Weekend p***y Hunt. Here's hoping.

By the way, Queer Duck, another Icebox classic, is now available at Shotime (http://www.sho.com/queerduck).

*Sorry, fanboys--regardless of his version of events, Nickelodeon gave him a chance when no one else would, and he repaid them in venom and sh*t. No matter how you feel about Nick's other hit cartoons, no one else seems to have the problems "getting along" that John did. That's why Nickelodeon is still on the air and John K isn't.
