What are some of your favorite rock and roll movies?
Ya know- any -maybe an Elvis movie, or WOODSTOCK, or HORROR OF PARTY BEACH-well-you know!

Top of my list is ROCK AND ROLL HIGH SCHOOL (1979)
It's made by AIP, has P.J.Soles, Mary Wornov, Paul Bartel, Dick Miller, and the f**king Ramones.

SPINAL TAP of course...seen it so many times though

I'm also thinking of a really bad 80s one. a kind of slasher, involving a hair metal type band that turns up at some shack in the middle of nowhere to practice. girls and guys in the band iirc, but the girls might have just been groupies though... the film is basically them practicing and getting picked off 1 by 1 (I think?) anyone know it
