Did you know that costume was made from the flying suit for a Mk 1 Lightning? The Mk 1 was basically a rocket with wings. You could have sat one of those bad boys on its tail, ignited the engine and it would have shot straight up into the sky. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Electric_Lightning in case anyone out there is an airplane nerd.
