Does Florida really exist?  Or does all the weirdness that bubbles up in our dreams take form in an alternate reality they call the Sunshine State?

You know, in fairness, I've been told (dunno if it's true though) that the reason we hear about all the crazy stuff in Florida is their FOI (Freedom of Information) laws are a lot looser than other states, making it easier for the press to get a hold of every crazy incident that comes across the police desk.
