Rotton taters. Gawd!
Dogs with serious mange-ugh!
Blue cheese-ack!

I had a container of worms in the trunk of my car for a week with my fishing stuff. It was July. Terrifying. It smelt like Death.

One time, at Galveston, we spent an evening chasing and catching sand crabs.
We put them all in a cooler, thinking we would let them go the next morning after taking a few pics . . . they all died in the night and the smell was like Satan had died of syphilis and been rolled around in the dumpster behind a really bad seafood restaurant a few times.

Burning hair.

Toad poop.

Infection.

But maybe the worst thing I smelled as a kid was when a jar of rotten homemade pickles got opened. It was like death and spoiled food and sour vinegar all threw up in the same jar. Just indescribable.

We made pickled asparagus at Honee Bear. We would have whole pallets full of badly sealed jars that had been sitting in the warehouse for years. Crawling with flies and maggots.
I got used to the smell of rotton food after being at that f**king place for 30 years.
You would never eat canned veggies again if you knew how much s**t we sent out.
EXCEPT taters real make me sick.

A port-a-loo that hasn't been emptied in weeks in the summer was the absolute worst.
yeah no.

We had a pilot who ejected from a plane and on the way down hit some power lines. The site had to be guarded while crash & smash did their investigation. That is a smell that just doesn't ever leave you.

The only smell that has actually made me throw up though was when I was down the Falkland's and we'd been tasked with cleaning up the building prior to an inspection or something. I was working with Ryan the TMEC ninja and he managed to knock over something containing hundreds, if not thousands of used cigarette butt's. I tried to help him clean them up, but every few seconds the smell of them had me horping, so he decided to clean them up himself rather than add puke to the mix.

When I was at Kilmarnock College doing my first year HND, the classroom had a broken sewer pipe running beneath it. The smell that summer was like rotten gammon.

Every time I buy a second hand union suit off ebay, It's tends to have this really strong perfume that doesn't come out for at least two or three washings....

Agreed: I used one of those at the end of a week long festival: there was poo on top of poo in the one.  :buggedout:
