StarCrash was my introduction to low budget European "B"/exploitation knock-off movies when I was a wee lad, so it'll always be my favorite.

Battle Beyond The Stars is another goody, as is Forbidden World (aka Mutant) and Galaxy of Terror.

Saturn 3 was a SF movie likely made due to the success  of star wars.  It could have been better and had a big budget cut halfway thru.

Titan find, aka creature,  was a pretty IYF alien ripoff.

Galaxina was a fun movie that didn't  take itself seriously,  and will make yiu hate the scum who murdered Dorothy Stratton.

There's always StarKnight: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Knight_of_the_Dragon Cool title, concept, & scene design, but somehow less than a sum of its parts. I think the script needed another draft or two.

(Hope 1985 isn't too late.)

And there's the Things to Come remake: http://www.badmovies.org/movies/thingstocome/ I actually like the robot design there; still need to see the movie.

nah 85 is fine... half the bad movies from 1985 were probably made in 83-84 anyway

PLANET OF THE DINOSAURS looks craptastic, never heard of it!

Planet of Dinosaurs Review: http://www.stomptokyo.com/badmoviereport/reviews/P/dinoplanet.html

Coldfusion Video Reviews had a more positive assessment, but the site's gone. INathan Shumite, the webmaster, started a new site, but I don't think he still has his old reviews.

My Review: Good FX, ok concept, bad acting, earsplitting music. Mute your TV when they start to climb the mountain, unless you want a headache.

Parasite was an 'Alien' knock off from '82. Features a before she was famous Demi Moore.

Alien a mid-budget feature which lifts elements from Planet of Vampires.

Alien Contamination, from the director of Star Crash. Another one I own, but haven't watched yet. Guess what it's ripping off.

Trailer for Planet of Dinosaurs:

Sorry...
Great movie!

I always had a soft spot (mebbe in the head) for FOOD OF THE GODS (1976)

Remember Spacehunter: Adventures In The Forbidden Zone, with Peter Strauss and a young Molly Ringwald?

Sorry...

Wiki sez some studio genius thought it would be a good idea to release it a week before Return Of The Jedi. Did they seriously think this movie would survive going head to head with that?

CONTAMINATION is good fun, check it out. I forgot it was the same director as STARCRASH

We can't forget about Don Dohler's films:

The Alien Factor (1976)
Nightbeast (1982)
The Galaxy Invader (1985)

I copied this list from Wikipedia, but I don't think such a simple list is copyright-able; it's just a chronological list anyone could make with research. Fiend was there, but it doesn't sound like sci-fi, so I didn't included it.

Oh lord,  galaxy invader. Was that monster costume knit by someones grandmother?

Oh yeah, "invasion from inner earth".

Lifepod. (ORIGINAL NOT THE REMAKE!)

Massacre at outpost zeta.
