me and one of my brothers watched this repeatedly over the course of about a month when we taped it off the tv in about 1995. I hadn't seen it since then.

couldn't find the dvd cheap enough to justify buying it, but it's on youtube. pleasantly surprised at how well it holds up. Carlton from Fresh Prince as a moody badass character is funny to see. the film delivers good goo. it's obviously aimed at teens mainly, but like I said I thought it held up well

Best thing about this film was a nubile Ami Dolenz...

$100 for the DVD, $123 fot the Blu  :buggedout: I assume both are OOP. Glad I grabbed the blu for $17 a few years ago.

Anyway, fun movie.

I liked it well enough. I mean, it's got Clint Howard!

don't know why sellers charge such mad prices. no one is going to fork out that much surely

Alex

Yeah, I remember watching this one when it came out. It was ok, but not worth anywhere near that kind of price.

for a start if I spent that much on a dvd then the next few days I'd be stressing about whether it got lost in the post or delivered to the wrong address etc, anyway... aint nobody got time for that!

most I've ever spent on a dvd is about £27 I think.

one thing I like about TICKS is it feels like an 80s film. it doesn't have that more self-conscious and downbeat style that seemed to come into a lot of similar themed films almost exactly as 1990 rolled around

The main reason I like it because it's really bloody- and yeah- it feels like an '80's film! Plus Clint Howard!
Clint Howard is always a plus. He was in ROCK AND ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, EVIL SPEAK, the ICE CREAM MAN, even HOUSE OF A 1000 CORPSES!
Oh yeh- he was also the star of the TV show GENTLE BEN- and was on STAR TREK too!

Charlie Sheen's finest moment imo.

this is one i've watched a few times as well and much much better than i thought it was going to be. in short well worth a watch and i don't think it's a bad film at all, it makes me think of that X-files episode from season 1 but honestly better than that episode i think
