I bought a new computer

After many years of faithful service, my desktop took a s**t. That's why I ain't been online a lot lately- I'm using Tiana's old piece o s**t laptop for the last week and a half.
So I bought a new one! Should be here by the 13th.

for a desktop? not bad! my lappie is a dell, i really like it. the desktop is an acer, we've stuck with those since my beloved mac croaked.

I used to hate laptops, but when I get sent somewhere I find them essential alas. I don't think I'll ever get used to using the pads of them instead of a mouse though (I plug a mouse in and use that instead).

i thought i'd be like that too,alex, until the first time i got stuck in an airport with the mouse in my luggage. i am now in love with the touchpad and i use a mouse only on someone else's computer.

Man- I'm so used to my old slow one-this one is FAST!

I dunno! I just plugged it in. I'm a computer idiot- I just plug it in, if it don't work-I don't know why!
