We got worst- howzabout BEST?

.Charles Laughton- the HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (1939) I love Chaney's version- but dam.
.Bogie- the MALTESE FALCON (1941)- I mean, c'mon. He does the hand and lip twitch thing.

Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Skim pickens,  Dr. Strangelove. Peter sellers was originally pegged to play major mong,  but just could jot pull off a texas accent.

I would agree with that. He was also very good in PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID (1973).

I think Sean connery's best movie was Zardoz.

Mel Gibson gets a lot of recognition for BRAVEHEART, but honestly, I think he really showed better acting chops in THE PATRIOT.
Love that film!!

Awright- you knew this was comin, I reckon-
Bela Lugosi- DRACULA (1931)
Yeah- I know in the the long run, it was a mediocre film at best. But Just because Lugosi was in it makes it classic. When a little kid imitates Dracula- he don't do Lee or Carradine, he does the Lugosi voice. Lugosi IS Dracula. And he only did it on screen twice! Compare that to Sir Christopher Lee, who did it 9 times.

.Jimmy Cagney- WHITE HEAT
.Bette Davis- dam that's hard! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE?
.Jerry Lewis- Hmm. I can't think of one f**king movie...OH! KING OF COMEDY I guess...
.Lon Chaney Sr.- the UNKNOWN. Dam. If you have never seen this movie-my gawd. Chaney acts with his feet. With his toes, man  :buggedout:
.Lon Chaney Jr. in OF MICE AND MEN. So heartbreaking. Innocence lost because of the scheming of scumbags.

LUGOSI's iconic role is definitely DRACULA.
I am inclined to argue that his BEST film might be THE BLACK CAT or THE RAVEN
