BONEHEAD roles

Once again, KENT SMITH gets to play a BONEHEAD in a film I watched last night: NORA PRENTISS (1947) TCM's Film Noir for Saturday night, starring ANN SHERIDAN. 
KENT SMITH is a doctor who fakes his own death so he can runaway with ANN SHERIDAN from his boring life and marriage with two teenage children (since Nora's hard but a good girl, they get SEPARATE rooms in a hotel...) and he doesn't tell her the truth of what he'd done.  After a lot of CRAZY histrionics and dumb mistakes, he finds himself in a fiery car wreck that burns his face making him unrecognizable... and using his new fake name, he's tried for murdering himself!  It's so DUMB!  I enjoyed it. 

Who else got stuck playing a complete IDIOT in a movie?

Kurt Russell in Big Trouble In Little China Town. He is the worlds most hopeless hero, but somehow he stumbles through a series of life-threatening adventures and comes out on top.

I like that dumb movie too...

Most of the cast of the BLACK SLEEP (1956).
Lugosi, Carradine, and Chaney play complete morons in that film.
I enjoy the movie...but what a waste.
