Fast and Furious question

I've been a fan of these films since the first one and now that the ninth film in the series is in production, I've got a question. Have the F&F writers forgotten that Deckard Shaw killed Han in F&F 6 and how is Shaw now almost one of the family?

Yeah, Shaw went from villain to anti hero to near family over the course of the films. Vowing vengeance for his younger brother and aiming to kill them all, now he's kind of working with them.

I will admit that Shaw's opening scene is hilarious and amazing, standing by the bed of his hospitalized brother, and the slow pull out to the carnage he's wreaked beforehand.

I saw FF7 in IMAX with, among others, a young kid who was a huge Paul Walker fan. He was in absolute tears at the farewell ending, which was really well done.

It's funny how the FF franchise started as a car/crime movie, and the series became action/heist movies as they went on. Even Tokyo Drift wasn't really an action movie the way later movies were. The producers probably realized there was a lot bigger market in fun and overblown action movies than car movies.

Just remember Trevor with everything going on in those movies an enemy becoming one of the family isn't exactly the most unbelievable thing going on. Just switch of Mr Brain and enjoy.
