Why would you watch Cage for any other reason? Do You watch Shemp Howard for high drama? Or Brando for slapstick? I watch Nicholas Cage for over acting craziness. I don't give a f**k about his action movies. I wanna see him eat a cockroach!
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

I think your post could have been much shorter and effective if you'd  limited it to "Why would you watch Cage?"

I can't think of anything o his I liked. I did like armored skeptic's review of his left behind movie.

Because I DO like many of his films.
I would not watch VAMPIRE'S KISS, or PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS or WILD AT HEART, if he wasn't in them.
I don't know who Armored Septic is ( he's wearing like knight armor s**t? and he's a septic tank?) -nor do I give a f**k what he thinks.I have my own brain. I don't give a flying f**k what anyone says about something I like. They can be as snarky as they want. I Don't agree with all reveiws I read. Because that is why I post on BAD MOVIES. I actually LIKE s**t most people hate. No other reason. I don't like MSTK 3000 kinda s**t, because, I really wanna watch this f**kin' movie.
I know that I like his movies-if someone else cuts them down-well-yippy skippy. I reckon that's his right and point of veiw. Not one that I would agree with, but of course I think everybody's wrong and I am always right!  :drink:

speaking of vampire movies,  even tho it's badly named the vampireless Italian film "Planet of the vampires" is a decent little SF horror movie and the oniy good SF film to escape from italy in the 60's. Mario bava directed.

From the 70's I would say MARTIN (1977) and...the WEREWOLF VS. THE VAMPIRE WOMAN (1971), is a pretty cool movie. I enjoyed Herzog's NOSFERATU (1979) very much.
Lotsa folks like DRACULA (1979); I don't. Don't get me wrong- it's a beautiful film. But Langella's blow dry disco hair and pirate shirt did nothing for me.
On a BAD movie level- DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN (1971) is the movie to beat!

Uh,  yeah,  it's  been beat.

Dracula 3000.

This is the worst vampire movie ever made because of the cape in it.  Even if you ignore ire the idiotic plot, the bad acting,  the seteroptypical gangsta characters,  the generally bad acting,  ridiculous dialog,  etc,  etc,  the cape alone makes it the worst vampire ever made.

Words cannot describe how awful,  stupid,  ridiculous ,  asinine,  inane,  groan,  eyeroll and face palm inducing this cape is. It looks like someone literally reached into a tv screen and somehow pulled a vampire cape right out of a bugs bunny or Hanna Barbara cartoon.

You have to see it to believe it.

If Christopher Lee ever appeared on stage wearing this the cast and crew would collapse in full fledged laughing seizures.

If Bela Lugosi appeared in this cape RCMerchant would boo him.

This may be the worst piece of costume ever made in a film.

I have not seen it-but yeah- that's awful.
The thing is- I have grown to like DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN after I seen it on TV in about 1973. I hated it then! I couldn't believe Famous Monsters had it on the cover!
Year later I found out that the editor Forrest Ackerman, was pals with Sam Serman, and was the editor of Warren's SCREEN THRILLS ILLUSTRATED. Plus Forry was in it....

It wasn't just awful, they acted like it was the first time drac and frank were  in the same movie!

Between this and that  ghawdawful torture porn movie "Assignment terror" I have a hard time picking the worse one!

I mean assignment terror didn't even call Frankenstein by his name,  using some variants of it. I admit I used one of the names they called Frankenstein, "Feraxalon" (feh rax a lon) as a name for an iron warrior character in my chaos space marines armyso I got some good out of it.)   But the worst thing about it was it was the. Last movie of screen legend Michael "klaatu" Rennie.  Lord what a terrible note for a career like his to end on!!!  :bluesad: :hatred:

The Dracula with Frank Langella dropped right in my formative years, so it's a bit of a classic for me.
