Nah. he's here. I talk to him on the phone once in awhile.
Plus he's typing and your reading- so unless your just a dream by a dead person..

All we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream....
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

I haven't read it and probably couldn't know any less about it except in high school I was going out with someone who had to read it for a class and he said, "This book is not as good as people say it is."  I have heard its author was in or near Dresden when it was bombed and that influenced him to write it.....I believe? That's just about everything I know except a lot of people seem to hold it in high esteem.

You guys ever read The Haunting of Hill House? Very few books have ever impressed me that much.

Of course we both have read THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE.  Great writer SHIRLEY JACKSON.  She wrote one of my favorite novels.

KURT VONNEGUT was a prisoner of war and housed in Dresden's Schlachthaus Funf as his barracks.  The city was fire-bombed while he was there.  The novel is a mixture of horrific memoir, ordinary uninspired life, and science fiction.

Gee whiz- I just quoted that a bit ago...!
In fact I've read everything she ever wrote. No joke. Even her not scary stuff.
My favorite author of all time.
