The famous 'procurer to the stars' has passed on at the age of 96.

Just one thing: Bowers claimed this star and that star were gay, lesbian, whatever. My response to that is "So what?" So what if Katharine Hepburn was a lesbian? So what if Randolph Scott was gay? Their business, not ours: all the viewing pleasure they and others gave us movie fans means everything, not their private lives.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

I read his book Full Service and found it interesting... and loathsome.

Good night, Scottie.

Questions are raised by the book, and though dubious and self-serving, I believed everything he wrote!
