What's a favorite BETTE DAVIS movie?

I'll pick the obvious one first:  WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE?  (1962)

TCM has been showing BETTE DAVIS movies all day Tuesdays this month, which is why she's on my mind.

Please post one at a time, so everybody gets a chance.

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

The Burgomaster

Whatever Happened to Baby Jane is my favorite. But since it has already been chosen, I will say:

Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

bob

Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Her earlier movies are kind of Lifetime ish. they were meant to appeal to women. the idea that a guy would take her over mariyln monroe or Olivia de haviland is just silly

Don't forget A STOLEN LIFE (1946) her most remembered "evil twin" movie.

I may be alone here, but I've always liked The Nanny.
Hail to thyself
For I am my own master
I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

You're not alone.  THE NANNY (1965) is a movie I've been considering posting.

Because I love MARY ASTOR, THE GREAT LIE (1941) is a particular BETTE DAVIS movie favorite (and hebby on melodrama, as Lester pointed out about her early films).
