I can't imagine Netflix allowing Disney to show those programs.

They can, they just have to wait the 1 year+ waiting period.  Which allows Netflix to stream those existing seasons until said point.  No word on if the cast members will be back, but I believe they all signed contracts that allowed for appearances in future MCU films and/or tv shows.

And 200 years ere the prequels and 800 years after the Old Republic, we have the High Republic. And beginning in August, 2020, we are getting a series of adult novels, teen novels, children's novels, graphic novels, and crossover characters set in the High Republic.

Since it is a good way to test the waters and see if people are interested, and since we always knew, the next film trilogy will come ere the prequels, it is said that the next Star Wars film trilogy will be based during this time period in the Star Wars Universe. It is also said that a director has already been brought on board to direct the 1st film in the trilogy.
