As far as Trump breaking the law-. He's latest abuse of power is trying to bribe the Ukranian President for using taxpayer's money, by witholding funds alotted by Congress for the purpose of aiding the Ukraine against Russia, if they could dig up dirt on Biden. It's against the law and the Constitution to use a forgein government to tip the scales of an election , or for one's own personal gain.
He's threatened witnesses, refuses to testify  (why not if he has nothing to hide?), and even one of his cronies went on TV and said- "and if there was quid pro quo-so what? It doesn't matter!!"
Yes, IT DOES. It's AGAINST THE LAW.
Both Clinton and Nixon were impeached, and they did much less then this guy.
He looks the other way when a nazi killed a woman at a rally , he called Mexicans rapists and drug addicts, he cheated people out of money owed (that why he had to go to Russian banks to continue his con games), and he's a misogynistic (grab them by the p***y, anyone?).
And he lies about everything and anything.
I never liked Hillary, and couldn't care less about Obama, but Trump is a mental case and a vindictive old man.
And that's all I'm going to say, because I ain't gonna get into another election year debacle on this board (like I usually do  ).

This thread was started about one topic.  You should not engage Lewis regarding Hillary or the Clintons because he is a Republican, a true Republican, meaning he cares about leadership and can disagree with a person and still see basic values.  Disagreeing regarding policy is part of politics, but be careful, you are skirting racism.  And trump is no politician, just an enormous empty ego.

"Skirting" which does not mean espousing.  I immediately look askance at remarks about OBAMA like "no class" "arrogant" "empty suit" not because I like him so much, but because he is our first black president and I'm proud of him.  I often disagreed with him and got annoyed.  By the second term, I had come to admire him.  Hell, I admired JOHN McCAIN and hardly ever agreed with him.  Those men have class, were negotiators, and hardly "empty".  Now trump is classless, arrogant, empty.

I don't criticize anyone for individual views on the current President, whose conduct and remarks have given plenty of fertile ground for complaint, people are obviously entitled to have opinions on him, let him defend himself (or more in his style, let him rabidly counter-attack), but President Obama being half black doesn't insulate him from criticism and it doesn't necessarily make criticism of him racist.
