This was a "cash and gift card" Christmas. My wife and I had no idea what we wanted, so I just told my parents to give us cash and gift cards.

We also had a big project in work for about 3 weeks that ended the week before Christmas. As a sign of appreciation, the company gave us each $250 worth of gift cards. The rest of the department also got 3 extra vacation days (I didn't because I'm not an employee . . . just a contractor).

a 2 foot long christmas stocking stuffed with varied candy( still looking)
red suede boots with leather ribbons on the back
13 pairs of viciously expensive socks
a blue suede fresh hat
a new bong! neon orange!
a victoria's secret fleece robe
lightweight saranac gloves
a huge box with cheese ,sausage, mustard, a cutting board and a mini cleaver
10 pairs each of (also expensive) socks for hubby and bestie
a new purse
2 pairs of sandal/flipflops
all my expenses paid for 8 days except airfare
and the gift of meeting all my grands AND my BIL'S family.

oh, and a grocery store giftcard too! and MORE chocolate!
