It shows how sadly divided our country is that even amid our universal need to overcome a mindless, indiscriminate, dangerous virus we cannot unite, that in the midst of a disaster we somehow find ways to more deeply polarize ourselves while we contract still further into divisive rhetoric and tribal identities. Depressing is a mild word for it.

Of course, the nutjobs that follow "QAnon" are saying that the whole virus thing is simply code language for all the indictments and arrests taking place as Trump brings down the Satanic cult that is running America, and that the virus doesn't exist at all.

there IS light under the bushels of BS though. an example is my niece's "moms" group on FB. they have created a spread sheet to share/trade things they need and have extras of in order to help as many as they can. i can't even express how proud i am of these young women, and the older ones too who have" grandkid" leftovers, they're truly a blessing to me right now. they give me back my faith in humankind.

really dissapointed with netflix instant. I was embarassed it took me so long to go to direct from DVDs it didn't occur to me there would be less movies available on it. almost nothing i really want to see as far as horror movies

I went up to school today to attend a staff meeting regarding our moving to purely online instruction for the balance of the school year.
