When I bought The Omen on blu-ray some years ago I haven't seen the movie since VHS days. I hate to say this but when I watched it I was thinking "this didn't age well". It wasn't the fashion or anything like that. It was like the movie felt kind of cheap and much more cheesy then I thought it would be.
I have seen it several times over the years now and it re-grew on me. Which is weird because I usually don't have issues with classic horror movies.

It was banned for many years here: Richard Donner took our censor board to task over the banning and the cuts when it was released eventually.
