House of Usher (1960) - I'd never seen this and didn't know the (Poe) story. It might be my favorite Vincent Price role of the ones I've seen. His hair is died blonde and he's thoroughly believable as a gay-ish introverted control freak trying to prevent a suitor from taking off with his hot sister from within their massive, falling apart estate.

The polar opposite of the supernaturally infused, garishly colorful "Masque of the Red Death", this earlier Corman feature is downbeat and depressing but actually has more in common with a modern horror movie. Not much else to say. I might watch Tomb of Ligeria next.
