Picked up these three CDs at my local second hand shop last weekend so they've been in rotation all week long. Ritchie Blackmore overload!

Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - self titled (1975)

Rainbow - Down To Earth (1979)

Deep Purple - Fireball (1971)

Despite listing "Bob Marley and the Wailers" on the cover and marketing it as a "posthumous album" with "collaborations," this is a bunch of cover versions---good cover versions, but cover versions nonetheless.

A "lost" album from Neil Young, recorded in the mid-70s. I think all of the songs ended up on different albums, in different versions. If he had released this version, it would have been one of his top 10 albums.

Right now: working and listening to the soundtrack of Coogan's Bluff.

Listening to the sound of rain hitting my window. Best music to my ears ever.
Is it October yet?
