I watched a double feature of Alice in Acidland (1969) and Smoke and Flesh (1968) yesterday. Neither was very good though the first one had a pretty cool out of nowhere ending.

I DRINK YOUR BLOOD (1970)

Post- Manson hippies were no longer doped-up flower children...now they were 'rabid, drugged infested hippies on a blood crazed killing rampage !"  :bouncegiggle:

Oy vey!

It's bad. Real bad.

There is a 3-disc limited edition set selling for about $70 on Amazon. If you buy it you're required to sign a waiver saying you don't understand the concept of money.

Helter-Skelter. I've never seen hippies be so bad.

Manson used to tell his 'Family' that they weren't "hippies", they were "slippies", because they were the ones who slipped threw the cracks of society.
A  1973 documentary-MANSON- was nominated for an Oscar for best doc!
And it is an excellent and scary film.

The Burgomaster

I love the BILLY JACK franchise, but the hippie scenes are so dated they will make anyone cringe.

EASY RIDER is a great hippie movie.

HAIR, anyone?

Cool stuff. This post actually made me add The Billy Jack collection to my Amazon wishlist :)

Easy Rider and Hair are kind of the opposite of some others mention in that they're good/great hippie movies :)

I saw HAIR at least 3 times in the theater, and owned the soundtrack too.  I think I own it on DVD.  I wouldn't call it a Hippie movie mainly because of when it was made.
I like that movie.
