Thanks for the tip. I need to spend more time with this album. I previously knew them mostly for their cut on the "Scott Pilgrim" soundtrack.

Now:

A lost album from 1989. It's from after George went pop and is pretty good if you like that "quiet storm" kind of thing.

Hit my favorite second hand book/music store after work yesterday. Took a bit of diggin' but I found two goodies:

Black Sabbath - Forbidden

...original I.R.S. Records press from '95. I already have the album on a bootleg Russian 2-albums-on-1-CD combo with TYR, but I almost never find Sabbath CDs from this era in the wild, so I couldn't pass it up.

KISS - Hot In The Shade

...one of KISS' least essential albums, which is why it's taken me this long to finally get it on CD.
Now the only KISS studio album I don't have on CD is Crazy Nights, an album which I actively despise, but deep down I know that if and when I come across a used copy of it anytime soon, my collectors' O.C.D. will win out over my common sense and I'll buy it just to finish out my collection.

I think Crazy Nights would be the only Kiss song I could actually identify...  as shameless poodle-perm anthems go I like it.

I'm sure I remember hearing an album they did which was like their attempt to go grunge? unless I imagined that

please do not mock my potato.
