Most of the movies discussed here tend to fall into one of those categories. Anyone know any terrible rom coms? comedies that aren't funny etc?

1. Body Rock - Cool As Ice will always be the number one in the rap section, but this is a close second. Actually, Cool as Ice is kind of good and this just sucks. Lorenzo lamas plays a not very charismatic street dancer trying to make it in New York City, though the whole celectric boogaloo esque cast clearly comes from LA. it has n one of the charm of breakin' or accurate subculture representation of Beat Street (it's light years from Wild Style in this respect).

Most glaringly there is no rap music and very little actual breakdancing in this. other than the decent camp value, the theme song is the only salvageable element here.

2. Swept Away (madonna) - just off the top of my head this is terrible too. Madonna has the least amount of screen presence of anyone I've ever seen. It's one of those movies thats impossible to get involved in because it all sucks so much. you watch AT it. the "Come on a My House" cover is her worst song ever. it was so crappy it broke up the marriage of Madonna and guy Ritchie I'd say

well SHOWGIRLS and THE ROOM are obviously bad movie staples and I wouldn't say either was action sci fi or horror?

BAD GIRLS GO TO HELL maybe as well.

I'm gonna add FORCE MAJURE which I thought was the most pretentious load of c.r.a.p. I've ever seen and I guess that would fall under 'family melodrama' or similar

I still haven't seen the Room.

What is Force Majure?

Another I would add is the kirk Cameron in Fireproof. He plays a fireman and he looks like a lesbian firefighter at best, just not good casting.

Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star

SINGLE ROOM FURNISHED (1966) One of Jayne Mansfield's last films. A looong talky psycho-drama of constant long winded speeches that no one would say in the real world. It's like a cheap off-Broadway wanna be beatnik movie.  :bluesad:
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

What is Force Majure?

it's a long slow swedish melodrama about a man cheating on his wife or something. quite a few scenes are so pompous they're comical

just found out it got a US remake this year called DOWNHILL starring Will Ferral

trevor - Christian movie about a ballet dancer who gets Cancer then develops magical powers or something.

made by people who have no idea how to make a movie. The acting, writing and plot direction are completely insane. it's really in a class by itself

I'm going to thrown in that old standby Mommie Dearest, tho I thought it was entertaining.
