It's not uncommon for restaurants, especially fastfood places to get some movie tie ins.

A movie themed kids meal, drinks cups, a mean themed after the movie somehow, we've all seen these things.

So, what was your favorite tie-in?

For me, it was the Ghostbusters 2 stuff at Hardees.  I had NEVER eaten at Hardees before this, but I was such a huge Ghostbusters fan that I begged my parents to take us so I could get the Ghostbusters 2 cup and those little sound effects makers they had.

And I played the hell out of that sound effects thing.  Even after it broke, it became like a hoverboard for my action figures when I played.

I honestly don't think I've eaten at Hardees after that either.

I had them in both black and red.  I'm sure one of them was my brothers, but I can't remember which.

I actually think I might still have one of these cups at my dad's house.

When Ghostbusters (1984) was released, a local company released a brand of potato chips called Ghost Pops. Still available today.

When I was a kid Hardees also had the collectable Smurf glassware that you could take home.  We had most of them but lost a couple of them when they got dropped.

I had completely forgotten the Universal Monsters Burger King toys.

From what I understand a few years later there were similar toys offered at Jack-in-the-Box.

I had some Glass mugs that McDonald's put out for Batman Forever.

They had some stuff related to Power Rangers back when that was big in the mid 90s.  Had a bunch of that stuff saved.
