Halloween during a pandemic.

I don't plan on getting any kids this year. I'm gonna keep the lights off.
Which really f**king kills me, because Halloween is my favorite day of the year.
I have to. Tiana works at a nursing home. If I get sick and die, I ain't scared.
What I don't want to do is take the chance that I give it to her. She would live threw it- she's healthy as a horse. But if she takes it back to them old folks at the nursing home- f**k that.

Me last year on Halloween. The good looking one is me. The other is my son Jed.

Halloween has changed so much from what I remember.  Very few come to my house surrounded by neighbors, but the kids are all long grown... I remember living in Asbury Park many years ago and the fun we'd have scaring the kids who'd scream run off stomp their feet and laugh!  If you're lucky you get good neighbors.

People seem to have went to much more effort this year, decorating their gardens and so forth with witches, zombies and spiderwebs. Ash is not a fan of the tree that bursts into evil laughter when he walks past it, if we go on one of our nightly strolls. We've hung some skeletons on the tree in our front garden, but can't find out box of Samhain decorations.

I never get trick or treaters where I live (no kids in the neighborhood).

Our neighbourhood is filled with kids and the door normally goes non-stop. Not sure how many we'll see this year. We figured we'd buy in sweets, although not as many as we'd bought in previous years.
