Has anyone else seen whose apparantly cast as Doc Ock in the Spider-Man sequel.  Sam Neil!  Never would have thought of him, but he's an excellent choice.  I've loved him in Possession (his best over the top performance), The Piano, Event Horizon (Hey! I know quite a few people who love that movie!), In the Mouth of Madness, Final Conflict and Dead Calm.  Excellent choice if it's true, but imdb's been known to make it's share of errors.

Check it out at:

Oh my Lord. That's excellent! By the way, you can keep tabs on this kind of news at

If that's true...my God!  He's perfect!

Squishy

Actually, don't get your hopes up just yet. A little search turned up nothin'. How likely is that? I found one site (besides Comics2Film) that covers this kind of thing, and mentioned the IMDb listing: they rightfully pointed out that the IMDb posts info from anyone who sends it in, so nothing there can be trusted until it appears onscreen.

Maybe someone was dropping a huge hint.

Still, Neil would be excellent.  Better than Arnold any day.

Nathan

Lance Henriksen!  Lance Henriksen!  Lance Henriksen!  (I'll just keep repeating that until I bludgeon all opposing viewpoints into sullen silence.)

Sam Neil!  Sam Neil!  Sam Neil!

(Ctrl C and V are my friends.)

Here's a thought.  Henriksen is really not old enough for the part, but I think he might make an excellent Vulture.

Of course, the odds of the Vulture ever making it to the big screen are close to nil, but...

J.R.

Actually, Henriksen would make a jim-dandy Curt Connors, AKA Lizard. Hopefully they will figure out a way, utilizing CGI or something, to make it actually look like Connors is missing an arm. Most times you can plainly see the actor's arm tucked behind his back.

Squishy

They pulled the effect off in Forrest Gump with CGI, so it shouldn't be a problem...after the crap he's been regulated to lately, Henriksen might actually be willing to lop the arm off himself for the opportunity...

Lee

ALLRIGHT NATHAN!!! Now that's a pick!!! Lance Henricksen would totally rock!!! Hell, he allways rocks!(Even if the movie he's in doesn't.)

The Bard

Dam, that sucks, I was hoping they'd have Venom. I never really liked Doc Ock or Lizard.
