Nope, they are right-wing costumes. Very famous for being right-wing. You should check out this thing called World War 2. Its kinda a big event. the people in those costumes hated people who were left wing. Sent them to concentration camps. Stuff like that.

I actually started collecting those movie prop guns to get the attention of my film maker buddies, who were shifting more towards action movies... I quit that when I quit hearing from them...  I still buy the occasional microphone...

As for my disability, I was supposed to start a job last year, but then the COVID lockdowns started up, then rioting, burning & looting, compounded by a complacent mayor who had three police chiefs quit on him because they weren't allowed to do their jobs, & it isn't just something a city gets over, we've had to live with it every day for months, the signs of destruction still visible & a mayor who refuses to address any of it or move towards healing unless he can get his donors involved...

In spite of it all, I'm a little more aware than most people might imagine, just how fortunate I've been through this mess...

I haven't seen ANYONE in this thread support the rioters. Maybe not condemn them as forcefully as we'd prefer, maybe try to change the subject, but not defend the rioters. That's a positive thing we could focus on.

It looks like MITCH McCONNELL will be passing the buck to the Democrat controlled Senate to proceed with the impeachment trial AFTER the inauguration.  Logically, in a strictly political sense, it's likely the right thing to do.
