50. Theda Bara

She invented the 'Vamp'.
Nobody gives a rats ass about her movie history, ya know, because shes's dead well over 100 years old by now, because some folks don't realize that films were made before they were born.
I have noticed some people cannot wrap their mind around the concept that some good movies were made before 1976- before Star Wars. But their was such a thing once upon a time.

Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

51. STEVE COOGAN (who is exactly 55, so he doesn't offend anyone I guess)

52 - Donald Pleasence

I love how he took his role seriously, no matter how s**tty the movie was, like the ones featured in MST3K.

Check my crappy and unpopular reviews and ratings:

I removed my stupid and offensive remarks from Claws post. It was uncalled for and I am sorry.

^ Robert Newton? Who the f**k is he? Are you pulling another Helen Slater?
Character actor who died young, so he gets over looked often. He basically created the stereotypical depiction of a pirate, the same way Bela Lugosi created the stereotypical depiction of a vampire. Don't know what sort of range Newton had as an actor, but creating an iconic role is something.

54) James Stewart

Ageism is ageism, unwarranted, but there was no "drama"... except maybe someone dramatically removing their post or dramatically locking their thread or blaming the "thread police".  If one posted something that one eventually deleted, locked, or altered, there must be SOME reason.

as erick sermon once said: "in the heat of the moment... things get hot!". good job it's only the internet and not something important like video games and tv.

55. ALISON STEADMAN

don't think I've ever seen any actor play two such totally different yet believeble character roles as Candice-Marie in NUTS IN MAY (1976), and Beverly in ABIGAIL'S PARTY (1977).

i dunno if he's on here or not but my favorite actor of all time Mickey Rooney the man could act his ass off when he had the right script and the right director.

there are films he is just simply awful in (1976)'s Find The lady is one where he just plain awful in but than the movie is also awful too i have it on VHS.
but than look at Boys Town (1938) and you can see why i put him on here, later on he was underrated and you could say he ruined his own Career when he quit MGM and he even later said it was the dumbest thing he ever did and i think he's right.

but when he had the right role, director and writer he could be good but sadly that wasn't always the case he was in movies for a stunning 88 years!
