Just realized that I am one year older than what this guy was when he played Gurney Halleck in the 1984 version of Dune.



There's some grey starting to creep in on the sides and in the stasch and the coverage is starting to receed a bit but I still don't look as old as Patrick did in this film.

I wish I could go back to my 40s! In some ways the 40s are sort of your prime: you've got the perfect mix of experience and your energy levels haven't started to decline too much.

YET,  you will continue to learn as you get older.  I don't think a person reaches their highest potential until they are old enough to know they're old...

I'll be 59 in August.
Considering how much abuse I have caused to my self, I'm glad to be alive.  Thumbup

But actually, you mellow with it. It never freaked me out. I am GLAD that I'm getting old! The only alternative to getting older is dying!

I’ve got 3 years left then.  Smile

Always felt like I have an old soul. I usually get along better with people older than me than I do with people younger than me. My last three serious relationships, the women have been older than me, so I must like older women. Most people think I’m younger than I really am, so I don’t know. I feel old sometimes, but as has been said, you can learn new stuff almost everyday, so I suppose it beats the alternative.
