50 Worst Movies since 1980

So, the idea for this thread was inspired by my reading of "The 50 Worst Movies of All Time (And How They Got That Way)." While this book has some serious problems with its picks (it includes recognized classics like "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia" and "Las Year in Marienbad"), it's notable as the first book I'm aware of to spark interest in "bad movies" as a category.

The thing is, it covers fifty years of movies from about 1930-1980. It's about time for an update!

I can't control what people put on the list but I'd prefer we stuck to theatrical-type releases: yeah, there's a lot of absolutely terrible crap released directly to DVD or whatever that like 50 people saw, and while those movies may be worse, they're not really comparable to a flop something backed by a studio. (Roger Corman type B-movies or stuff intended for drive-ins and grindhouses do count.)

The usual politeness rules apply: one election at a time, please, and take turns.

I'll start us off with an "E.T." ripoff:

1. "Mac and Me" (1988)

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

2. CHEERLEADER CAMP (1988)

Heartrending in it's awfulness.  :bluesad:

4. Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000)

Nothing about this is good. It's just boring and painfully dull

6. WOLFMAN (2010)

(I'm going for 'bad meaning bad' here)

don't remember being more bored sitting through a 'big budget' movie than this...

7) Conquest of the Earth

The boring movie made from a few episodes of Galactica 1980, released to theaters internationally.

8. "Bolero" (1984)

Yes, a constantly naked Bo Derek can be boring.

*adds that to my list of things to watch*

9 Foodfight!

This movie has no shame when it comes to product placement. It also looks very unfinshed. I think as a community we could do better movie animation.

11. SMOKEY & THE BANDIT 3 (1983)

one of the lowest points in the history of cinema I'd say... how a film this devoid of any reason to exist can be financed, casted, shot, released, and marketed, by fully grown adults, is a mystery to me.
