A conversation I had recently. For context I was with my parents and they were watching Emma on PBS. (At least I think it was Emma)

Dad:  You've seen those Harry Patter movies, right?

Me: Yeah...

Dad: Aint that the guy who plays Gandalf?
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Yuck, another sore throat.

I swear I've had more head colds in 2025 then almost any other time in my life.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

With the wildchill, it was -6 degrees today when I went to work.  All these  years and I never get use to winter.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Had a mostly good weekend. Saturday at the Aquarium. Easter Sunday at relatives. Weather could have been better.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

For some reason, somebody targeted the Ohio zoos this past weekend.  Seems like all of them got bomb threats. I was just at one two weeks ago.

There are times I really hate the world we live in.

Agreed entirely. Things are wrong all over.

After many years, Cinema Wasteland-a local horror con has shut down. Their previous show in April turned out to be their last one so at least I had a chance to attend it.

Been going for a few years now, just for one day. Plenty of stuff to buy, theaters showing B-movies all day. It was usually a good time. But raising costs and a few behind the scenes details have caused it to end after decades. Sad

This long weekend I made the trip from Cleveland down to Akron for a drawing day at the zoo. What was funny is that not only did the zoo have one of those animatronic dinosaur exhibts going on-it it was hosting a Renaissance Fair as well. Now that was a good time.
