I played my first Pathfinder session. It was rather silly and was enjoyable.

Was it PF1 or 2? Played a single campaign under 2. Never tried the first one, but I believe it is close enough to 3.5 that I'd have no problems with it.

PF2. The GM somehow managed to get the di to roll -1, and it showed some enemies having major skill issues.

We aure did have some fun, we had living origami take down a Gurglegut and did some damage to a horde of Jinkins. Theis proved fatal for the Jinkins as afterwards they kept rolling -1s and did damage to themselves. Battle of the millennium.

if you don't have a job at this point either you don't want one or you just come off as a terrible person during interviews.

I tick both these boxes, and yet I have a job   

got a romanian friend , early 20s, who's lived in england nearly her whole life and struggles to get any work due to some kind of visa issue? no benefits either. I don't properly understand the situation, but she desperately wants to work yet is reduced to selling the big issue (+ a daughter to support)

I know because of the kind of Visa Kristi had when she came over, she wasn't able to get a job until she had full citizenship, however she could still work cash in hand jobs. Might be worth looking into casual jobs like that. I know people who have started up house cleaning, window washing, private secretarial work, care etc.

this person does occasionally get a bit of washing up jobs in cafes, however (a) they pay her well below minimum wage - because I guess they can get away with it?, and (b) they are often horrible to her. bullying etc! pretty crazy

congrats... keep it going. will be 14 years for me this xmas. I still very occasionally (like once every 6 months) get a random craving for a beer, which lasts for seconds. perhaps that will never truly disappear.
