Read an interesting article about how red states in the mid-western US are increasingly going to suffer the worst effects of climate change rather than blue. It makes a case for this being ironic given the fake science that has been peddled by companies supporting the people who tend to win elections in those states.

It didn't offer any real solutions to any of the problems but it did explain why the country suffers more from extreme weather than most other places (all comes down to geography) and how it is going to get worse. Also didn't offer any sympathy for those suffering the effects regardless of political affiliations.

I used to read a lot more of random articles. Really don't seem to have the time anymore.

I fear how many hurricanes Louisiana will get, as well as how strong some of them will be. I was lucky to not get hit by any the past two years, 2020 had quite a few hit Louisiana, 2021 had Ida hit Louisiana.
yeah no.

When I woke up this morning I was in Louisiana. When I go to sleep I'll be sleeping in Canada. Happy early birthmas to me, I'm in Toronto.
yeah no.

Now to plan for another vacation either next year or the year after.

Been offered two new jobs without applying for either of them. While I don't think I'll be accepting the offers, on the one hand it is nice to get those offers and on the other hand it shows you just how many jobs there are available out there. Fairly convinced that if you don't have a job at this point either you don't want one or you just come off as a terrible person during interviews.

I've always wondered why Bed, Bath and Beyond never used that song by Madness in one of their commercials.....

I played my first Pathfinder session. It was rather silly and was enjoyable.

Was it PF1 or 2? Played a single campaign under 2. Never tried the first one, but I believe it is close enough to 3.5 that I'd have no problems with it.

PF2. The GM somehow managed to get the di to roll -1, and it showed some enemies having major skill issues.
yeah no.
