Of course it's important but...

I'd just like to see more restraint and pleasant conversation. That's my personal opinion. And  know a lot of other people don't enjoy the fighting. It's not like the Internet isn't full of bitter political arguments nowadays. You can go anywhere and find that. A place where people are friendly, civil and pleasant is a rare treasure, and I hate to see our little oasis of sanity spoiled.

The Ukraine thread didn't get really nasty, or I would have the same problem with it.

If you want to fight about political subjects just reactive your Facebook account, you'll be in a full scale war in seconds!
