What ever happened to Women's Roller Derby? Or any roller derby TV shows, for that matter?

It turns out that the party Kristi asked me to go to is fancy dress. Advance warning of this would have been useful. If anyone asks about my costume I am going to rip my tee shirt off and say I’m Jon Moxley.

Although he wishes he has my shoulders.

Had a league called The River City Roller Girls my first year at WRIR....
It's what the movie Whip It (2009) was about....
I think an episode of Lucifer, maybe the second season, was about roller derby....

Maybe it's one of those things only women know about.....

Work played Uriah Heep on the radio, a group I had never heard of before.  Both of my parents heard of the name but don't know any songs of them.

^ I had one of they'r records in the 70's. They were early prog rock. But with a metal edge.

YouTube wants me to test two months free premium and I wouldn't mind but in order to do so I have to actually complete a premium purchase and click "try it free."
If I don't cancel the free trial on time they will charge a monthly fee. From what I read people get shafted all the time because they are struggling to cancel or did cancel on time but still charged and didn't get their money back.

If you are giving away two months for free just do it, and switch automatically back to regular YouTube after two months without forcing the purchase.
No drama, no struggling, no p**sed off people.

Retiring at age forty-two seems great beforehand because it leaves you with the entire second act of life still ahead. But then you realize the playwright hasn't written the second act, and you've been improvising your lines since the door closed behind you, and you can't go back in anymore. So you wash off the makeup and shake their last style out of your hair and you look in the mirror at this stranger you're suddenly meeting, and you think, "What now?"

Write a novel, paint a picture, go naked ice skating on a frozen lake in Canada. The world is your oyster.

Exchange from this morning....

Me: "I had warm cinnamon buns for breakfast."

My friend Edie: "You cheated with a hot Cuban guy this early in the day?"

Pretty bad, but funny.

Get coked-up, have a threesome with a stripper, kill a hobo for kicks.
