The sleep of reasoner breeds monsters. (sic)

Ash managed to trip and fall while running to the toilet (he runs everywhere). As he fell he smacked the side of his face off the toilet bowl and now has a rather swollen face and a large bruise. I've been watching his pupils to make sure they are the same size, watching for signs of nausea and so forth. The joys of parenthood.

Sounds dreadful. Hope he's back on the path to recovery and forgetting.

Ever wonder if you'd like yourself, if you met yourself?

I don't think I would like me really.

I don't think I'd like myself these days either, Trevor. In the past I'd have said of course I'd like myself, I'd be my best buddy  Cheers but of late I've felt a sense of inner disapproval. My life right now is simultaneously wonderful and disturbing.

Back in July when I was just getting off of alcohol I kept meeting different versions of me in my sleep.

I think we'd settle down and plan out the most awesome D&D campaign ever ran.  BounceGiggle

It's a good time to be a Chap Stick addict. Have you seen some of the new flavors? Graham cracker, milk chocolate, marshmallow, honey, blueberry, dragon fruit, pumpkin pie, candy cane, vanilla chai, rose, white chocolate, rainbow sherbet, key lime.... Truly my addiction is well serviced.

I wonder why they never made a Friday the 13th movie where all the survivors team up to take Jason down?

Or one where they build a wall around Crystal Lake and then have a Running Man-type show where contestants have to survive a night in the walls and then escape.

^ "love" ???

I once saw this thing about a fat as hell guy from someplace near the equator. He ate and ate so he could play King Neptune in his village's annual parade. They were like "idiot, you are going to die" and he did this ridiculous King Neptune dance. I think about it probably more than anyone else who saw it.

I was getting my children to try this last night; it's fun. Take a sip of water and hold it in your mouth, then inhale a scent of something like an essential oil or strong fruit or something, and your senses get confused so you start tasting the smell in the water.
