Who knows? Within the next year, maybe 3%? Coup attempt probability is higher, maybe approaching 10%? If Putin were to die there would likely be some chaos and infighting, but I don't know if it would amount to a civil war.

Because he's dooming his kid to life without a biological father. He won't be able to guide the child himself, he is just hoping someday the kid will find a male role model to father him. Not fair to the kid. Fathering a child when you know you won't be around to care for it is selfish, even if you make sure it has money.
