ER

Saw it last month after being on the lookout based on a recommendation. Good silly fun from my childhood.

Three special mops out of five.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

I revisit this one every couple of years, it still makes me laugh.

My wife absolutely hates it, which is an added bonus :D
"If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Definitely a classic - Weird Al in his prime!!
The segment about "Raoul's Wild Kingdom" alone is worth the cost of a rental!
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

Some great parts.
I think Michael Richards was the best part of the movie!  Though; the Beverly Hillbillies song/video was pretty damn cool.
The parts where Richards, as Stanley Spadowski, annoyed the hell out of his captors was great:
"I'm thinking of something.. orange.. something orange.. orange.. ya give up?  It's an orange!  Ha ha ha!
Now I'm thinking of something blue.. something bluuuuuuueeee..."
Thug: "Let me kill him.. PLEASE let me kill him.."
Stanley: DUN DA DA DUN DA DA DUN DA DA DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUNN!!! (Bonanza theme)
YOU GET TO DRINK FROM THE FIRE HOSE!!!

I remember thinking he was one of the best things about the show Fridays, too!  Him and Mark Blankfield.  The show otherwise didn't age well.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

My fave part is the Raiders Of The Lost Ark parody  :teddyr: :teddyr:

I love when Raoul is dropping poodles out his apartment window to see if they'll fly.

Back at the station, Al and his sidekick are watching, horrified, and Al is like "Why did you hire this guy?" and the other dude's like "Me? I thought YOU hired him!"
"If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Love this movie. It is one I dig out on an occasional basis for a good chuckle.
Hail to thyself

I am my own god
I require no shepherd
For I am no sheep.

WingedSerpent

Long time Weird Al fan.  Love this film.  Especially the music.  Al is one of the few people who can consistently make parodies that are as good if not better than the original.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Cult_Moody_Movies

Love the film. I am bias as a Weird Al fan but I think the film is great even if you are not a huge fan of his parody work. I even pre-ordered the Shout Factory Blu-ray with the limited edition poster. Kevin McCarthy and Michael Richards are the two true stand outs. I'm glad the film found an audience after its failure at the box office like many other films of the 1980's. It's still really a shame that it hindered Weird Al from doing any more films. With his creativity on music videos, voice acting work and The Weird Al Show we can only wonder what he could have contributed to film.

Was that where he throws turtles at the wall to see if they'll stick?  :buggedout: :teddyr:

Conan the Librarian is classic.

"Don't you know the Dewey Decimal System?"
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

I know the DDC: spent three years learning how to use it then promptly forgot it  :buggedout:

In all honesty I can't figure it out to this day to be honest.  I just ask the kind lady for the book I need and she gets it.

That's good, but I prefer the Rambo parody.

Both are great though.

And has anybody mentioned the Wheel of Fish yet?
