ROBOCOP - THE SERIES (1994)

pleasantly surprised... done in a kind of 'fun bad movie' style. tongue in cheek satire (bit like the original) and also occasional fake commercials / news stories which are amusing. Robocop himself doesn't get much screen time. - minor criticism, the main villains are a little too cartoon esque compared to all the other characters. no biggie.

Pilot episode - baddies are trying to hook the city up to a central AI system called 'Neural Brain'... sound familiar?!

Power Rangers. I've box sets of the first 18 seasons, and since I'm home all the time, I decided to binge them all.

The rest I'll have to stream on YouTube.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

about to re-evaluate season 5 of TJ HOOKER (as you do...).

boldly going where I went before a couple of years ago. from memory seasons 1 and 2 were pretty fun going. season 3 and 4 a bit more 'serious'...  but I really can't remember anything about season 5 except that I think Romano had left the show.

#215
ok, Episode 1... directed by William Shatner.

intro... Hooker and his ex-wife and 2 kids go to a funfair. fire breaks out in one of the funhouse things. Hooker bounds in, waves a fire extingisher about, literally puts out someone who is consumed in flames (!) who then thanks Hooker for saving their life before limping away.... then it's straight back to Hooker & Co. enjoying the funfair! (with Hooker complaining that he "smells of smoke") :teddyr:

Sex and the city. I always thought it was a silly soap opera for bored housewives or fashionistas  :bouncegiggle:  Recently, a friend recommended this series to me, and I was a bit surprised, the dialogues are very clever, and at times, it's really funny.

cqmorrell

First pilot of The Munsters, "My Fair Munster".
The future Lily is named Phoebe, and she and Eddie are played by different actors. Herman's quite a bigot towards his niece, but thankfully Grandpa's mostly the same. Also, filmed in color so everybody's light blue save for Marilyn.

Are the first and second parts much better than the third one? A few months ago, I went with my boyfriend to see the third part (I hadn't seen the previous ones), and I was disappointed   But the idea itself seems great, so that's why I'm asking, is there a big difference?
